Che Ahn’s story begins in South Korea, where his parents planted seeds of faith and resilience. As a young boy, Che immigrated to the United States with his family, landing in the heart of America’s promise. They spoke little English and had few resources, but they carried with them something more powerful than money-an unshakable belief that anything was possible with faith and hard work.
Today, that same belief fuels Che Ahn for Governor—a campaign to restore opportunity, freedom, and values to California.
From Ministry to Movement: A Life of Leadership
Years later, Che would graduate from Fuller Theological Seminary, enter ministry with his wife, Sue, and raise their four children with those same guiding values. In 1994, they planted the roots of Harvest Rock Church, a vibrant, multicultural congregation born out of prayer, passion, and a hunger for revival.
That small church would grow into Harvest International Ministry (HIM)—a global movement spanning over 70 nations, delivering a message of hope, healing, and spiritual awakening.
Standing Up for Religious Freedom
When the pandemic hit and California’s government closed the doors of churches statewide, Che Ahn made a courageous decision. Alongside more than 140 churches in his network, he led a federal lawsuit to defend the constitutional right to worship.
The battle went all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court—and the ruling was historic: religious liberty could not be sacrificed under fear or pressure. Che’s stand reminded California and the nation that freedom is not optional—it’s foundational.
A Proven Voice for Truth and Transformation
Whether from a pulpit, a podcast, or a public platform, Che Ahn’s voice carries a prophetic conviction: California can be reformed.
He has authored over a dozen books, trained leaders across continents, and walked with people through addiction, trauma, and despair. Through every trial, Che has remained a shepherd—guiding others toward truth, purpose, and bold transformation.
