California is at a crossroads.
Families are struggling under the weight of rising costs, homelessness continues to grow, and policies are increasingly shaping the moral and spiritual direction of our state. While better leadership in Sacramento matters, true transformation begins deeper than politics.
It begins in the heart of the Church.
The California Christian Coalition is a growing network of pastors, ministry leaders, and prayer warriors who believe that spiritual awakening and civic engagement must go hand in hand if California is going to be restored.
This coalition exists to connect, equip, and mobilize pastors and believers across the state to pray, lead, and act.
Why This Coalition Exists
California does not just need better policies.
California needs spiritual transformation.
Since the overturning of Roe v. Wade in June 2022, California has seen a 16% increase in abortion rates in just one year, becoming a destination state for abortion services. At the same time, families are leaving the state, homelessness continues to expand, and many believers feel disconnected from what is happening in Sacramento.
These challenges cannot be solved through politics alone.
They require prayer, unity, and courageous leadership from the Church.
Pastor Che Ahn believes the Church must step into its biblical role as the Ekklesia — the governing assembly called to bring God’s righteousness and justice into society.
That is why the California Christian Coalition exists.
What the California Christian Coalition Does
Each month, pastors and ministry leaders from across California gather to:
- Hear Pastor Che Ahn share what is happening spiritually and politically across California
• Receive insight on the critical issues affecting families, churches, and communities
• Learn practical ways the Church can pray and take action
• Unite with other pastors and leaders who share a heart to see California transformed
This coalition is not just about information.
It is about mobilization.
The Ground Game: A Million Prayer Hubs
Our vision is bold but simple.
We are believing for one million prayer hubs across California.
A prayer hub can be as small as 2–3 believers gathering regularly to pray for their city, their leaders, and spiritual awakening in California.
If one million prayer hubs are established, it will create a grassroots prayer movement that covers the entire state.
This becomes the spiritual foundation for lasting transformation.
Prayer in Action
Members of the coalition are encouraged to help mobilize believers to:
- Pray: Establish small prayer hubs committed to praying for California.
- Spread the Word: Invite other pastors, churches, and believers to join the movement.
- Register to Vote: Help believers engage responsibly in the civic process.
- Vote: Ensure the Church is represented in the decisions shaping our state.
- Harvest: Pray for and reach people in your community who need the hope of the Gospel.
This is how spiritual revival and cultural transformation work together.
