We are seeing the consequences of leadership that lacks moral clarity. Crime, homelessness, and economic decline are symptoms—not the root cause.

There is also a deeper reality: we are in a spiritual battle. Policy matters, but lasting change starts at the spiritual level. When hearts change, systems follow.

That’s why I emphasize prayer first—because transformation begins there before it shows up in policy.

What Are Ché Ahn’s Top Priorities for California on Day One as Governor?

My first action as governor will be to call for a statewide day of prayer, repentance, and fasting.

We need healing in California, and that starts with humility and turning back to God. I will call for a 12-hour statewide gathering where churches, families, and communities come together in prayer.

But beyond that, I will implement practical policies immediately:

  • Enforce existing laws that are currently ignored
  • Redirect state spending toward effective solutions
  • Restore accountability in government

Spiritual renewal and practical leadership must go hand in hand.

How Will Ché Ahn Address Crime, Proposition 47, and Public Safety in California?

California’s crime crisis is largely the result of policies like Proposition 47, which reduced many felonies to misdemeanors.

This led to:

  • Increased theft and retail crime
  • Early release of offenders
  • A surge in homelessness and drug-related crime

Even though Proposition 36 was later passed to correct this, it’s not being enforced due to lack of funding.

As governor, I will:

  • Redirect the state budget to enforce existing laws
  • Restore consequences for criminal behavior
  • Support law enforcement instead of defunding it

Public safety is a basic responsibility of government—and we will restore it.

During COVID, we fought for and won religious freedom protections. That experience showed me how fragile these freedoms can be.

Freedom is not granted by government—it is given by God. Government’s role is to protect it.

How Will Ché Ahn Fix California’s Economy, Housing, and Cost of Living Crisis?

California is becoming unaffordable for families. We have:

  • The highest taxes in the nation
  • Sky-high housing costs
  • Businesses leaving the state

My plan includes:

  • Reducing taxes, including gas taxes
  • Expanding land development for housing
  • Pausing restrictive regulations like CEQA
  • Rebuilding energy independence to lower costs

We should be building 500,000 homes per year—but we’re far below that.

This is not just an economic issue—it’s about restoring opportunity so families can stay and thrive in California.

At the first Republican debate in San Diego, 13 candidates participated. After the debate, a survey was conducted to determine who performed best.

By God’s grace, I received:

  • 57% ranking me as the top candidate
  • Another 30% ranking me second

That was a decisive outcome.

I believe voters are looking for:

  • Practical knowledge

I combined policy knowledge with moral clarity, and that resonated with the audience.
